What are the minimum requirements must be done?

• Full NMC Registration - RGN/RMN/RSCN/RM
• Full RCN membership of equivalent Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Minimum of 3 years
• Post Basic course (acute area)i.e Care of the Adult in A and E, ITU,etc Formerly ENB 199/1001/124
• Experience in one of the critical care areas such as,ITU, A and E or mental Health preferred
• Evidence of mandatory updates if a registered Midwife as per Midfery Rules

In addition most assistance companies require:

• RCN in Flight Nursing Award
• And/or previous in flight experience with the intention of undertaking theRCN in flight Nursing Award Course

In few companies prefer:

• BLS (essential)
• ILS
• ALS/ATLS/ATNTC/TNCC only required in ITU type transfers.
